In my opinion, springtime can be a great time to start something to head into the days of summer with joy. And frankly, the start to the New Year can feel heavy after the holidays and sometimes now, is when we just start to feel lighter. 

So, let’s chat managing our money because:  It’s not what you think it is. 

Money Management is not: 

  1. Being super strict and never allowing yourself a want...like EVER

  2. Lots of mind numbing math that feels hard

  3. Being Frugal Fran and feeling ashamed for buying something at full price or (gasp) a luxury item. 

  4. A “do it once” and never have to do it again 

  5. Only focusing on your money and not being able to do anything until you are debt free

If you’ve been with me for a bit, you know I have a phrase that I say a lot:

Managing your money has very little to do with your money and EVERYTHING to do with your habits, behaviors and emotions.  Or, as I like to say….#Life! 

So what IS Money Management? 

Easy. Money Management is Life Management. 

We can’t just manage our money, we also have to manage our time and energy.  We need all of them friend and you can’t manage your money without them.
