How Your Environment Impacts Your Money Results

Do you pay much attention to what you are consuming and how it might impact your money? If you are like most individuals, this sounds weird and hokey and no, you aren’t thinking about it.

So today my friend, I’m gonna tell ya why you should.

If you’ve been following me you know I always say: Managing your money starts in your mind.

And I believe this 1,000%

We aren’t born with beliefs and behaviors, we develop them. And we develop beliefs and behaviors based on our environment.

That’s important to soak in.

Because just like we learn how to communicate, how to love, etc. - we learn how to interact and think about money.

Our brains are like the strongest sponge you’ve seen. LIKE...Brawny times 1M. So what we consume, and what we say to ourselves matters!

FIRST: We want to identify what we heard and experienced around money growing up:

  • Was money scarce?

  • Did you have a lot?

  • How’d your parents feel about money? Stressed? Happy?

  • Did you hear phrases like: Rich people are stingy, Money is the root of all evil?

Take a hot minute and think through that.

STEP TWO: How are we upholding that in our current life?

  • Are you surrounded by individuals that are constantly talking about how they don’t have enough money?

  • Do you hear and believe that money is stressful?

  • Do you constantly hear that rich people are bad?

What looks similar between STEP 1 & STEP 2?

Recognizing what you are consuming as it relates to money is huge because it is informing your beliefs.  And your beliefs are the root of your money results.

To show you just how powerful this is - let’s peep this magician who is going to read a mind, and He’ll show you how he did it. WATCH THE VIDEO.

REMEMBER: Your beliefs create thoughts that create emotions that create actions that get you the results that affirm your belief.

It all starts with your beliefs. Be mindful of what you consume because it has a powerful impact on your results.
